Abstract

Since the term transference introduced by Freud into psychoanalysis in 1895, transference and its interpretation are central to all psychoanalytic model. Definitions of transference and transference interpretation have changed very much in accordance with advances in psychoanalytic technique. The author reviewed changing concepts of transference and attempted to introduce various concepts of transference in terms of theory and practice.
